New Legislation Regarding Insurance for Car Owners
The Traffic Department has launched a campaign from 1st February to 31st March, informing all owners of vehicles that are uninsured that they are now obliged to insure their vehicles by law. This includes vehicles which are not in use. Starting on the 1st of April 2016, traffic officers will begin to fine those who remain without insurance and do not comply with the legislation.
